Airport

The Belém International Airport – Júlio César Ribeiro currently handles 21,000 passengers daily and 7.7 million annually. Following planned expansion, its annual capacity is projected to reach 13 million passengers.

The airport manages 28 takeoffs and landings per hour, amounting to 672 daily or 20,160 per month under 24/7 operations.

International flights currently connect Belém directly with Lisbon, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Cayenne, and Paramaribo. Travelers also have international connecting flight options from major Brazilian cities including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador, Manaus, Recife, Guarulhos, Fortaleza, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, and Campinas.

Currency Exchange Offices
Upon your arrival, it is possible to exchange your currency for Brazilian currency at the exchange offices that are located inside the airport.

COP-30 Official Bus Routes

During COP30, the transportation of participants will be carried out by an exclusive system of 15 bus lines aimed at accredited members. To access the stopping points, which will be signposted, it is necessary to present the Blue Zone credential or letter from the UNFCCC. Learn about the defined routes between the airport, the hotels and the event venue.

Taxi Terminal and Transportation Apps 

The boarding points at the airport are at gate E. For taxi boarding and transportation by app, it is in the first and second lanes, respectively. If you have any questions, a volunteer can help you. The attendees-only bus is in the second lane, between Gates C and D.

Terminal Outeiro / Cruzeiro

Two cruise ships will be moored at the Port of Outeiro, in Belém, offering about 3,900 cabins and 6,000 berths, functioning as a strategic point.

Hospitals and Public Health Units
Belém is a reference in health in the region and has a wide network of public and private hospitals.

During the event, an Integrated Center for Joint Health Operations – CIOCS will be available for assistance. All participants will have free access to the Unified Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde/ SUS) in urgent and emergency situations.
