COP30 SERVICES
Accreditation
Accreditation via the Brazilian Government
- The Federal Government issues a public call to select representatives of Brazilian society who will join its official delegation to COP30.
- The call is published months before the conference and may set participation limits per organization or sector.
- The government does not cover travel, lodging, or food expenses for participants accredited through this channel who are not part of the federal government.
Accreditation as UNFCCC Observer
- Civil society organizations may apply directly to register as observers to the Climate Convention, allowing them to participate autonomously in the conferences.
- Details of the process are available on the official UNFCCC page: https://unfccc.int/es/node/17566#Admission-process
Accreditation of Parliamentarians
The procedure is usually conducted by the Special Advisory Office on Parliamentary and Federative Affairs (Assessoria Especial de Assuntos Parlamentares e Federativos/AFEPA) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(Ministério das Relações Exteriores/MRE).
