André Corrêa do Lago
President of COP30
André Aranha Corrêa do Lago was born in 1959. He has a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and joined the Brazilian foreign service in 1982. As a career diplomat, he has held functions in different areas at headquarters, in Brasília: international organizations, trade promotion, protocol and energy. As adviser at the Office of the President, between 1991 and 1992, he worked in the organization of the Earth Summit (Rio-92). Abroad, he has been posted to the Brazilian Embassies in Madrid, in Prague, in Washington, in Buenos Aires and to the Brazilian Mission to the EU in Brussels.
Corrêa do Lago has been working with the sustainable development agenda since 2001. He was the director of the Energy Department (2008-2011) and of the Environment Department (2011-2013) at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was Brazil´s chief negotiator for climate change and for the Rio+20 Conference. He was the Brazilian ambassador to Japan (2013-2018) and to India (2018-2023). Since March 2023, he is the Vice-Minister for Climate, Energy and Environment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Corrêa do Lago is the author of several books and articles on sustainable development and climate change, as well as on architecture. He is married and has four children.

Ana Toni
COP30 Executive Director
Ana Toni is the National Secretary for Climate Change at the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change and the CEO of COp30. An economist with a PhD in Political Science, Ana has a long track record of promoting projects and public policies aimed at social justice, the environment and climate change.
Ana was Executive Director of the Instituto Clima e Sociedade - iCS (2015-2022), President of the Board of Greenpeace International (2010-2017), Director of the Ford Foundation in Brazil (2003-2011) and ActionAid Brazil (1998-2002). She has been an advisor to the Gold Standard Group, the Baobá Fund for Racial Equity, Light and Vibra Energia, IPAM, among others. She is a member of the Network of Brazilian Women Leaders for Sustainability.

Dan Ioschpe
Climate Champion
Dan Ioschpe is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ioschpe-Maxion and a member of WEG, Marcopolo, and Embraer. He is also one of the Vice Presidents of Fiesp (Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo), IEDI, and a Board Member of Sindipeças. In 2024, he was the Chairman of B20 Brasil. Born in Porto Alegre in 1965, he graduated in Social Communication from UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul), followed by a postgraduate degree in Marketing from ESPM-SP (Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing) and an MBA from Tuck, at Dartmouth College, in the USA.
