Mobility

This page provides information about the Transportation during COP30

Dedicated buses (Blue Zone)

During COP30, participant transportation will be provided by an exclusive system of 15 bus lines dedicated to accredited members. To access the signposted stopping points, you must present your Blue Zone credential or a letter from the UNFCCC.

The main access routes include Nazaré, José Malcher, Almirante Barroso and Augusto Montenegro avenues, in addition to BR-316. The system will serve Belém and the Metropolitan Region, including Icoaraci, Outeiro, Mosqueiro, Ananindeua, Marituba, Santa Izabel, Benevides and Castanhal.

The operation will be uninterrupted, 24 hours a day, between November 1st and 23rd, ensuring mobility and security throughout the period of the Conference.

Taxis and apps

Participants who use the taxi service must board and disembark at Visconde de Inhaúma Avenue (between Dr. Freitas Avenue and Alferes Costa Lane). Mobility via ride-sharing apps (e.g., Uber, 99) will be done through an exclusive area on Rômulo Maiorana Avenue (between Dr. Freitas Avenue and Lomas Valentinas Avenue). These pick-up and drop-off locations will operate from November 1 to November 23.

Private vehicles

There will be no parking at the event site. We therefore recommend using the dedicated COP30 buses. If you use your own vehicle (car, bus or van), the pick-up/drop-off will be at Duque de Caxias Avenue. The area is intended only for boarding and disembarking, without permanence.

Public buses

Belém City buses are an option for those staying in locations outside the coverage area of the dedicated buses. The closest drop-off point to the event is Almirante Barroso Avenue, between Júlio César Avenue and Dr. Freitas Avenue.

Active mobility

Belém has a wide network of bike paths and bike lanes, and the “Parque da Cidade” (City Park) is surrounded by them. Shared bikes, electric scooters and own bikes are sustainable options to get to COP30.

Bike racks will be available near the entrance of the Blue Zone, on Brigadeiro Protásio Avenue.
