UNFCCC Announces COP30 Presidency Consultations on Roadmaps

Parties, observers, and stakeholders can submit contributions until March 31

Parties, observers, and stakeholders can submit contributions until March 31

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) published this week calls for contributions related to the two Roadmaps announced by the COP30 Presidency regarding decisions adopted by consensus in the First Global Stocktake of the Paris Agreement (GST1), approved at COP28 in Dubai in 2023.

  1. COP30 Presidency Roadmap for Transitioning Away from Fossil Fuels in a Just, Orderly and Equitable Manner (paragraph 28.d/GST1)

  1. COP 30 Presidency Roadmap for Halting and Reversing Deforestation and Forest Degradation by 2030 (paragraphs 33 and 34/GST1)

Contributions can be submitted by Parties, observers, and other stakeholders by March 31 to the following emails: 

COP30-TAFF-Roadmap@unfccc.int and 

COP30-Forest-Roadmap@unfccc.int, respectively.
