GRANARY OF SOLUTIONS

Over 120 actions from 27 countries are taking part in the Mutirão for Information Integrity on Climate Change

The proposals include research tools that strengthen the quality and credibility of climate communication

By the Secretariat for Digital Policies of the Presidency of the Republic

Launched in July 2025, the Mutirão invited stakeholders from across sectors, including the private sector, civil society, academia, governments, public institutions, and international organizations, to submit concrete actions aimed at promoting climate information integrity. These submissions included practical tools and informational resources designed to strengthen the quality and reliability of climate-related communication.

More than 217 proposals were submitted, and 123 were approved, representing 27 countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Guatemala, India, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Vietnam.Explore the full list of approved actions here.

The outcome of the Mutirão will be featured in the Granary of Solutions, a portal created by the COP30 Presidency to showcase practical initiatives that deliver real-world results across all 30 Key Objectives of the Action Agenda — including Key Objective No. 30, which focuses on information integrity in climate matters.

This Call to Action was promoted by the Global Initiative for Information Integrity on Climate Change. All submissions were assessed by the Brazilian government, acting as Cochair of the Steering Committee of the Initiative, based on pre-defined evaluation criteria.

By bringing together efforts across borders and sectors, the Call to Action marks a pivotal step toward building a global movement for climate information integrity. It reinforces a shared commitment to fostering a healthy, well-informed, pluralistic, inclusive, and democratic public debate on climate change.
