As part of a global logistics operation conducted by Correios, twelve shipments totaling more than 230 packages and weighing approximately 25 tons are being transported to Parque da Cidade (City Park) in Belém, Pará. These materials and equipment will support the organization of the conference.
The first shipment, weighing around one ton, was delivered to the Blue Zone on October 8 and came from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). A second shipment, totaling around four tons, will arrive in Belém in the coming days.
Correios is currently handling shipments from organizations in Singapore, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. In the coming days, Correios will also collect items from China, the United States, Morocco, Portugal, and Brazil.
All cargo will be returned to their respective countries of origin after November 24, 2025, via Correios’ international logistics operation.
Correios' work at COP30 encompasses the entire logistics chain, including international transport, integrated operational management of the event (such as warehousing, customs clearance, and on-site delivery), and more.
By leading this operation, Correios solidifies its role as an active player in the global climate agenda and strengthens its commitment to social and environmental issues, in line with its 2025–2029 Strategic Plan and Corporate Sustainability Policy principles.
On July 1, 2025, Correios signed the International Cooperation Agreement formalizing its role as COP30’s strategic logistics operator with the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI). This partnership is a milestone for the company's sustainability strategy, creating new business opportunities and revenue streams. It also establishes Correios as a global leader in sustainable and efficient logistics solutions.
