COP30 Presidency Advances Climate Implementation Agenda at London Climate Action Week
In its eighth edition, LCAW has become one of the world's largest independent climate gatherings, expected to attract more than 75,000 participants

London Climate Action Week (LCAW), taking place from 20–28 June, brings together governments, businesses, investors, academia, civil society organizations and communities from around the world to accelerate climate action and foster international, multistakeholder cooperation.
For the COP30 Presidency, LCAW demonstrates a simple reality: climate action does not happen only at COPs. It happens year-round across cities, communities, markets and institutions. As COP30 High-Level Climate Champion Dan Ioschpe often notes, climate action happens 365 days a year.
The week also provides an important opportunity to advance implementation of the Paris Agreement through the Global Climate Action Agenda, which mobilizes voluntary cooperation among multiple actors. While countries negotiate collective goals through the UNFCCC process, implementation depends on partnerships, investments and practical solutions capable of turning commitments into real-world outcomes.
In London, the COP30 Presidency aims to consolidate the Action Agenda and the Plans to Accelerate Solutions, while building momentum toward key milestones in Antalya, Addis Ababa and beyond. As COP30 CEO Ana Toni has emphasized: "National governments alone cannot deliver the transition. Subnational governments, private investors, development banks, businesses, civil society organizations, research institutions, consumers and citizens, through their daily choices, all have an essential role to play in building a low-carbon, climate-resilient and prosperous future."
Among the many events that make up the LCAW platform, we highlight the following public sessions featuring representatives of the COP30 Presidency from June 22–26 (BST-London time):
