Throughout the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which runs from November 10 to 21 in Belém, Pará, the Parque da Cidade (City Park) will host more than 300-square-meter of dedicated spaces for postal and logistics services.

To minimize the event's carbon footprint, Correios will use electric logistics equipment (including vehicles, forklifts, and handling and delivery tools) for all activities, significantly reducing carbon emissions.

The scope of services will include transporting national and international parcels, storing inventory (such as exhibit items, support and office materials, and general dry cargo), and making final-mile deliveries to various participating institutions, including the Brazilian federal government, international delegations, exhibitors, and suppliers.

The logistics infrastructure will be set up strategically to serve all areas of the Parque da Cidade:

  • Blue Zone Service Hub: A service point offering national and international shipping services.

  • Blue Zone Operations Center: A 200-square-meter center for receiving, checking, and preparing the delivery of delegation cargo.

  • Green Zone Operations Center: A 100-square-meter center featuring three service points and a logistics area for outbound shipping and material delivery to exhibitors and other COP partners.

In addition to these on-site spaces, the company operates a 2,500-square-meter Integrated Logistics Center in Belém's Telégrafo neighborhood. This central facility is used for bulk cargo receiving, inspection, and storage to ensure the daily supply of the Blue and Green Zones.

As the strategic logistics operator for COP30, Correios reaffirms its commitment to providing efficient, reliable and sustainable solutions.

The company claims that this combination of operational excellence and sustainable practices is the tangible contribution of the Brazilian state enterprise to the success of the world’s most important climate conference.
