The Volunteer Program for COP30 is an official support initiative for the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference. The program seeks to promote local community engagement by encouraging civic participation and social leadership.
The program aims to leave a legacy of training, awareness, and community mobilization related to global climate change within the context of the Amazon region. Exchanging experiences, strengthening collaborative networks, and implementing educational activities are essential to the event's success and the region's sustainable development.
Volunteers will participate in several official conference activities, including welcoming participants, assisting with accreditation, providing logistical support, and helping execute various services.
Volunteers will also have access to exclusive reception and wellness spaces designed to provide physical and emotional support throughout the event. Volunteers will also participate in exclusive training and interactive activities designed to foster meaningful exchanges with other teams, experts, and guests, as well as broaden their experience.

Recruitment, selection, and training
The selection process includes recruitment and screening stages. Qualified candidates will complete a virtual training course on topics related to COP30 and their responsibilities during the 20-day event. Topics include climate change, environment, sustainable development, the United Nations (UN), the Conference of the Parties on Climate Change, tourism, and hospitality.
After completing the course, the top candidates will undergo a federal government background check. Once approved, volunteers will be selected based on their profiles and assigned roles. Then, they will receive in-person training and execute designated activities.
