Move Mundo: Global Mobilization Invites Citizens to Send Messages to COP30 Leaders
From cellphones to COP30: campaign turns messages into a collective voice for the planet

We are millions of lives, we are millions of voices, but we are one single cry. This is how Move Mundo is born—a groundbreaking mobilization that seeks to unite people of all ages and territories from Brazil and across the globe to send their messages and proposals directly to the global leaders attending COP30, the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will take place in 2025 in Belém, Pará.
Move Mundo project is an initiative of the Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development (CDESS), a body for social participation and advisory to the Presidency of the Republic, carried out with support from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. The campaign is a call to action: anyone can record a short video answering the question, “What is your advice for the leaders at COP30?”—sharing what they want to change, protect, or transform for the planet.
“Our goal is to create a collective, democratic, and symbolic gesture. We want to give voice to those in the territories, calling attention to concrete, urgent, and necessary actions to confront the climate crisis threatening the world,” explains Olavo Noleto, the project’s creator and executive secretary of the Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development of the Presidency.
The movement aims to bring together civil society organizations, communicators, social leaders, and engaged individuals who believe in the power of popular participation to influence global climate decisions. As host of COP30, Brazil has the opportunity to lead dialogue among peoples, cultures, and generations.
How to Participate?
To take part in the Move Mundo project, simply record a short video (up to 30 seconds) stating your name and answering the question: “What is your message to world leaders at COP30?”
Then, share it on your social media using the hashtags: #MoveMundo #COP30 #MutirãoMoveMundo #MutirãoCOP30
One United Voice for the Planet
The messages will be showcased in COP30 actions and events, symbolizing a collective desire for a fairer, greener, and more compassionate future. Move Mundo is more than a campaign—it’s a global mobilization for hope and climate action.
