COP30 Announces Schedule for the Action Agenda
Debates will bring together the private sector, subnational leaders, and civil society to share knowledge and accelerate climate solutions

The Action Agenda is one of the pillars of the Climate Conferences and, at COP30, its goal is to turn commitments into concrete actions — providing transparency about the real-world impact of ongoing solutions, in the true spirit of a global “collective effort” against the climate crisis.
To this end, the COP30 Presidency and the High-Level Climate Champions, Dan Ioschpe and Nigar Arpadarai, together with the Marrakech Partnership, have organized a series of events designed to bring together diverse initiatives and accelerate the implementation of climate solutions.
The COP30 Action Agenda aims to establish a new framework capable of mobilizing all actors and efforts to speed up the execution of what has already been negotiated, building on the results of the first Global Stocktake (GST-1) — a mechanism of the Paris Agreement that assesses global climate progress every five years and guides a new global action plan. Based on this assessment, the COP30 Presidency proposes to translate the Global Stocktake’s findings into six thematic pillars and thirty key objectives, each driven by multiple collaborative solutions.
During the conference in Belém, a range of events related to these thematic areas will take place alongside the official negotiations. These will bring together companies, investors, subnational leaders, and representatives of civil society in a shared commitment to accelerate climate action.
The initial schedule is now available and will be continuously updated.
