Petrobras will supply S10 Diesel with 10% Renewable Content — R10 — according to operational needs. The company’s Director of Energy Transition and Sustainability, Angélica Laureano, emphasizes that COP30 represents a significant opportunity to update the global agenda regarding discussions and initiatives to address the challenges posed by the climate emergency.

“By hosting the conference, Brazil plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable and inclusive development, and can effectively contribute to actions addressing climate change,” emphasized the representative of the state-owned company. “Petrobras is part of this global effort, shares these concerns, and seeks to be part of the solutions that will ensure the success of the event.”

The international cooperation agreement providing renewable-content fuel for COP30 was signed with the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), an intergovernmental body that fosters cooperation among 23 Ibero-American countries, with expertise in promoting educational, scientific, technological, and cultural activities.

Through Petrobras’ involvement, the initiative reinforces Brazil’s commitment to discussions on energy and socio-environmental issues, as well as the company’s dedication to sustainable development, social inclusion, and the advancement of a just energy transition.
